Rammus is a high mobility tank known to make life living hell for ADCs. Due to his high mobility and great AOE damage, he is usually used as a jungler. Let’s see how he rolls out in Wild Rift on the 22nd of April.
A skin line exclusive to Wild Rift! I honestly love these skins. Riot outdid themselves with the animations and stuff!
Alistar was never really known for breaking turrets at a breakneck pace. His ability did less damage than an mm auto, so this change does not affect him much at all. His position in the meta will remain unfazed. Nothing can hold him back.
The mobility boost will be pretty good for him. Although it doesn’t seem like much, most people underestimate his hook damage by a lot early game. Every hook he lands will reap slightly better rewards now. I am glad they are going back to the old patch because no one seems to pick this champ anymore.
This is a 50 percent CD nerf! It’s pretty huge, considering Corki relies on this ability for every team fight. This will surely affect him and the amount of times he can aggress on his opponents. His place in pro play will still remain the same, however solo queue playstyle has been affected by this. It’s solo queue, where the team fights happen every 60 seconds for no reason whatsoever.
She will feel like an entirely different champion! A lot of her kit has drastically changed and the buffs are huge!. This is by far the biggest single patch buff I have seen in Wild Rift so far. With her passive attack speed reworked, her Attack Speed oriented playstyle is also encouraged. This means her jungle clear will be faster, and her Baron laning will be that much more powerful.
I never thought she was weak, but this seems like a bit of an overbuff. Just for context, Diana, a warrior assassin, has 610 Hp while Galio, a tank, starts off with 570.
The tankiness nerf is significant early game. You are already weak, this puts you even behind. Remember, any nerf to HP points, directly affects his passive and his ultimate.
The s3 nerf is not that much. Given the cooldown of the ability was lower than how long it lasted, Mundo always had his attack damage steroid on. Again, this means there will be a few seconds in every fight where Mundo won’t have it up early game.
Late game he is still the same old, go wherever I please Mundo, but his early game will be even weaker than it already is, to the point you will have to properly optimize your jungle pathing and avoid most engages till you get your core items. Even his core item Sunfire is nerfed. Some early game assitance from his team and he will be alright.
Galio did a bit too much damage on any build. On a full tank build, with 1k less gold than the enemy, he could still 1v1 an ADC and win. With this, tanky Galio might be on the rise.
Kaisaya revealed that he had a whopping 89% ban rate in the Icon series, the highest of any champ in the game! These nerfs are in the right direction for Galio. If you want to main Galio, worry not, he will still be an amazing pick.
Patch 2.2 benifitted Leona a bit with the tank items being buffed. But this patch will solidify her place as a stun bot.
She is already ridiculously tanky, but with the reduction of cooldowns, add some cdr to that and in team fight she will constantly be cc chaining someone or the other. Love these changes!
He has received some great damage buffs! We might see some Pantheons in the jungle. His early damage buff will make sure his first jungle clear is faster than most other champs.
Here’s a video from ]Hellsdevils](https://www.youtube.com/c/HellsDevilWildRift/) showcasing the Pantheon buffs.
I don’t know why she had to be nerfed. She seemed to be in an ok spot. Her early clear will sufer even more and will need some early game help from team mates. She will still be decent as her late game strength is intact.
This is the third time she has received a buff since release. Every buff stacks and her latest patch just might be the answer to atleast push her to A tier.
Vi did feel a bit too tanky in the early stages of the game. She barely loses her HP while doing any objectives or the first jungle clear. She was almost always a bit higher HP than her opponent jungler when contesting the first scuttle.
I think the item was good as it was. Took away tankiness to provide some damage. The damage is nerfed by about 20 percent.
Total Cost: 2850g → 3150g
This item does more dmg to lower HP targets. During a snowball, this can prove really deadly as the team on the losing side will constantly find themselves at low HP. This cost increase will change some mage builds.
A minor bugfix.
[BUGFIX] Fixed a bug where item cost displayed as 800 Cost: 500g (unchanged)
This does not change much of the solo queue playstyle but esports. The intention is to keep the laning a good part of the game.
|Apr 15 - Apr 21||Braum, Jax||Evelynn, Fizz, Galio, Graves, Singed, Varus||Kai’Sa, Lulu|

Gaming Pharaoh notes rundown video is entertaining as always. Many thanks to Shurkou for letting us embed his video on here.
Really excited for Rammus release. We are looking at a tank meta. Galio supports and Pantheon jungles will rise. Although, I am surprised Katarina wasn’t touched this patch. I was expecting some sort of nerf on her.
Goodluck on the Rift, friend!
